KCIS students had their 2022 Australian Mathematics Competition on site and they have shown outstanding performance during the AMC exam.
AMC
■ The Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) was introduced in Australia in 1978 as the first Australia-wide mathematics competition for students. It has become the largest single event on the Australian education calendar, allowing students to attempt the same tasks on the same day in over 32 countries around the globe.
■ The AMC focuses on students' ability to apply their knowledge, i.e.: problem solving skills. "Most of the questions have certain solving skills, which are practised through training and in-class exercises to achieve their desired grade."
