Showcasing Chinese Language and Talent

In December 2023, the long-awaited 10th Wuxi City Foreign Students Chinese Speaking Competition officially began. The competition was organized by the Wuxi Education International Exchange Center and consisted of two parts: the semi-finals and the finals.

On the morning of December 1st, the semi-final session was held in the lecture theatre of our school. Approximately thirty students participated in this round of selection. On the afternoon of December 12th, 15 students from our school were invited to participate in the grand finals at the Wuxi Education Television Station.

PART 1

The students recited classic Chinese poems and verses in Mandarin. Their recitations were clear and melodious, infused with emotions. With full spirits and graceful manners, they expressed their deep love for Chinese culture.

PART 2

The students showcased their artistic talents and achievements in Chinese language learning through a variety of performances. They sang Chinese songs with impeccable pronunciation and delivered spot-on dubbing performances. With diverse and engaging programs, they demonstrated their artistic abilities and showcased the results of their Chinese language studies.

After the semi-finals and grand finals, KCIS had a total of 25 students who received awards. The list of award recipients is as follows:
